You will find shopping in one of the finest up-scale consignment shops in the area, two chapels for Sunday service, the Voisard studio and much more. Off-site activities are unlimited. If you would enjoy a day trip you can visit Bisbee, Old Tombstone, Sahuaro National Monument, Tubac and many other exciting places. For horseback riding, biking and hiking the Inn sits right in the perfect place.
For exercise or birding, the walking paths at the Inn and adjacent properties allow visitors to take a quiet stroll through the Kendall Cactus Gardens or walk along groomed pathways in a park-like setting. Visit the Voisard studio, artist galleries and historic Straw House. You may be surprised at the number of rare birds you will sight along the way.
Nestled in the heat of southern Arizona's migratory bird flyway, Amado Territory Ranch is situated on 17 acres of lush riparian habitat, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Santa Rita Mountains. In close proximity to birding destinations such as Madera Canyon and Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, the ranch is a unique year-round birding destination where species such as the Vermillion Flycatcher, Broad-Billed Rufous Hummingbird, Lesser Nighthawk, Coopers Hawk, Northern Cardinal, and Red-Naped Sapsucker can be spotted. We are also the closest location to California Gulch, home to the famous 5-striped sparrow. Enjoy the fresh valley air as you explore the gorgeous garden areas that are vibrant with blossoming flowers, and alive with chirping birds, butterflies, and even a bustling squirrel or two.
Spectacular golfing opportunities are just minutes away. The Inn has made arrangements for substantial discounts at three of the most popular Golf courses in the area. We will reserve your tee time, you carry your bag! Photos soon to come.
